K&M's Horizontal Extended Reach Drilling Industry Training (HERDIT) are second-to-none in the industry. Our team of engineers and superintendents that prepare and teach the courses are actively designing and drilling some of the world's most challenging wells.

K&M began building training programs in order to get all of our client rigs working from the same set of procedures and practices. This worked so well that we eventually built a full training product line and wrote a textbook to support the classes. Today, K&M's Horizontal-Extended Reach Drilling Induction Training (HERDIT) courses are recognized as the most comprehensive and immediately applicable courses in the industry.

The company offers operations courses that are taught to the well construction teams and engineering courses that are aimed at the planning engineers and superintendents. Each course can be custom designed to include as much operations or engineering content as the project may require.
