When K&M entered the realm
of extended reach drilling in 1989, engineering
software to plan and monitor these wells simply
did not exist. K&M began building custom-made,
discrete engineering software in 1991 and has
been proving these applications in the field ever
since. |

K&M has developed the state-of-the-art
Torque, Drag and Buckling Models and has stood these
models against the most sophisticated systems in the
world with resounding success. K&M has the only
system that will track individual friction factors,
run Drag Risk sensitivities, perform Buckling Risk
Analysis and utilizes roaming friction factors in
extended reach wells.
K&M's hydraulics model was
the first system to be calibrated for ECD effects
in various hole conditions. Its proven record of predicting
ECD's has made it one of the most valuable planning
tools on the market.
K&M Technology Group
is dedicated to the furtherance of Extended Reach
and Complex Well Technologies and is building the
software systems to ensure accurate prediction and
surveillance on the wells.
