K&M has developed a format
for an Offset Well & Hazard Review that has
proven vital to our projects. The OWHR becomes
the primary design tool and is used from its inception
through to the operational phases of the well. |
K&M engineers use the template
that has been developed and the offset well data that
is available from our clients offices to compile this
document. A by-product of the OWHR is a preliminary
design for the well. This generally falls out as a
result of the detailed analysis of past programs.
Since K&M is working for most of the major and
large independent oil companies around the world,
these documents also reap the benefits of more than
a decade of learnings in extended reach and complex
wells.

Review process is a significant step towards proper
planning of any extended reach or complex well program.
