K&M Technology Group supplies engineering, wellsite surveillance and
drilling supervision services to the complex well drilling industry. We are always
looking for quality individuals who are interested in participating in the toughest
wells in the world. If you are interested in learning more about joining our ranks,

Drilling engineering positions require residency in the Houston area
and are "employee" positions. Wellsite surveillance and drilling supervisory
positions allow for residency anywhere in the world and are generally based
on a "consultant" position (although our consultants work for us on a full-time basis).
Typical candidates for employment would have the following qualifications:

- Engineering - minimum of 3-5 years of drilling experience
with preference given to those with complex well drilling experience

- Wellsite Surveillance - minimum of 5 years of field
experience as an engineer or supervisor. Some candidates are accepted
with directional drilling backgrounds.

- Drilling Supervisors - considered on a case-by-case basis
with particular preference given to those with complex well drilling
supervisory experience.

All candidates for employment/consultancy will be asked to interview
with our executive staff in Houston. All candidates, for all positions,
will be required to complete a "Trades Test" in order to evaluate
current general drilling knowledge and specific complex well drilling
knowledge, prior to the interview process.

James began his career in 2004 with Schlumberger Drilling & Measurements in Western Siberia, Russia. As a Drilling Service Engineer he was involved in a wide variety of projects from slim-hole re-entry horizontal sidetracks, to batch S-shaped development. James was involved in development of the Sporushevskia field with zero percent target misses and Novogodnia field development with many record time wells drilled.

In 2005 James began working in the high arctic in Russia and was involved in Lukoil’s SAG-D development using E-pulse MWD/LWD tools and maintaining 1 meter center to center well pair directional control.

In 2006 James began working in the Williston Basin in Montana and North Dakota. Projects included multi-lateral horizontals, deviated and vertical wells, and slim-hole re-entry horizontal sidetracks. James successfully ran and subsequently coordinated bringing rotary steerable tools into the Williston Basin for Schlumberger. James coordinated the first ever Williston Basin well drilled with rotary steerable tools to achieve greater than 4 DLS turn. James was involved in drilling a Tri-lateral re-entry with an underbalanced diesel mud system and slim-hole directional tools, increasing ROP by 25% in the Cinnamon Creek field in North Dakota.

James joined K&M Technology Group LLC in mid 2007. Since his arrival James has worked on ERD projects including a venture in Vietnam that successfully floated 9-5/8 casing to bottom. James has also been involved in designing several horizontal wells in the US, West Africa, Russia and Brazil. Aside from English James also speaks Russian.

James and his wife Jenny reside in The Woodlands, Texas.

Kirk began his career as a Field Engineer for Dresser Industry in 1996. He worked in the Gulf of Mexico and on South Texas wells. While on the rig, he performed engineering tasks to enhance drilling performance and general surveillance.

Kirk was then hired by Baker Hughes Inteq in 2000 as a Project Coordinator. Through his dedication and expertise he was promoted to Business Development Manager were he was responsible for some of the largest drilling accounts for Baker Hughes Drilling Fluids.
