Career Summary:
Chris began his career as a drilling supervisor for ConocoPhillips, where he oversaw drilling and completions operations in New Mexico, South Texas, Louisiana, and Oklahoma. He had the opportunity to supervise hydraulic frac jobs, underbalanced, and overpressured style drilling.
In 2004 he began consulting as a drilling engineer for various companies is challenging areas such as the over-pressured South Texas Viksburg trend and under balanced drilling in environmentally sensitive areas of Colorado. Chris was responsible for full-scale well design, permitting, and execution in each of these areas.
Chris joined K&M Technology Group in 2005. Chris has developed an excellent understanding of the downhole environment. Since joining K&M, he has designed several horizontal wells onshore US and in the GOM. He has been heavily involved in a number of our highest profile deep water and ERD wells in the Gulf of Mexico and the North Sea for clients Chevron, BP, Shell and Southwestern Production Company. Chris’s diverse operational experience and rig “know how” are a valuable addition to K&M.
Chris, his wife Suzie, and their baby son Cooper live in League City, Texas.
