Masters Science Degree in Geology from the University of Mining and Metallurgy (AGH) in Krakow, Poland (1997)

Mechanical Technician degree from the Technical College in Krasnik, Poland (1986)

Career Summary:

Piotr began his career in the drilling industry in 1997 as a Mud Logger with Geoservices in Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan and Gabon (onshore and offshore). In 2001, Piotr was promoted to Data Engineer with Geoservices in Azerbaijan where he supervised mud logging operations offshore in the Caspian Sea for three years. In 2004, Piotr was again promoted to the role of BP Azerbaijan in the Caspian Sea as Data Engineering Unit Manager with Geoservices. Once again in 2006, Piotr was promoted to the position of Hole Cleaning engineer for ExxonMobil in the United Kingdom North Sea. 

Piotr joined K&M Technology Group in 2009 as a Hole Condition Monitoring Engineer with over ten years in the oil industry.  He is highly experienced at the drilling of ERD wells with the responsibility of advising clients on drilling practices to assure good hole cleaning conditions and well stability. With his technical education and hands-on experience with mud logging, high-angle directional, horizontal and extended reach drilling, Piotr is an ideal match for K&M’s requirements for a Hole Condition Monitoring Engineer on onshore and offshore, international and domestic drilling operations. 

Piotr Jaruga lives with his wife Jolanta Szczesna in Slomniki, Poland.
